BACKGROUND:
For 18 months I oversaw the development and delivery of most of Barclays' 'LifeSkills' platform content. The content varied massively - from interactive exercises to editorial pieces, and vlogger videos to corporate interviews - with differing objectives and sub-audiences influencing the approach for each piece.
Delivering this vast mix of content gave me a valuable understanding of how to craft educational content so it feels entertaining, relatable and relevant to a youth audience.
RESULTS:
LifeSkills has now reached over 2 million young people, with 700k+ views on YouTube content, thousands of positive comments on Twitter and Facebook and thousands of young people registered to better prepare themselves for the world of work.
